The senior wing of the school celebrated its annual day titled ‘Yugpravartak- the Changemaker’ that also marked the 150th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. The evening unraveled with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by chief guest Amit Khatri, Deputy Commissioner, Gurugram, along with guest of honour, Aleksei Illiuviev, Second Secretary, Cultural Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Republic of India, Tatiana Perova, Russian Centre for Science and Culture along with Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF. The function commenced with a mellifluous orchestra, played to the tunes of Karyanjali- an eclectic rendition of the favorite hymn of Gandhiji ‘Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye’. Following which, school principal Arti Chopra, presented the annual report, highlighting the academic, co-curricular and sports achievements. The celestial spectacle- ‘The Victory Saga’, celebrated the achievements of the students who had won accolades. A special dance performance by the Amitasha students cheered the assembly even further.
