Visit To Army College Of Medical Sciences

Amity believes in enriching student knowledge by linking the curriculum with real life experience. The students of class VII went for a visit to the ARMY COLLEGE OF MEDICAL SCIENCES established by Indian army near base hospital, Delhi cantt to learn about the functioning of human heart. The students were shown the actual human heart followed by an explanation of the functioning of human heart. Young biologist asked many questions and clarified their doubts about the human circulatory system. The explanations were followed by a visit to the museum of the college where different preserved organs of human body and their models were displayed. The entire visit was a great learning experience for the children. Apart from learning about the heart and its functioning they collected lot of information about risks to human heart and how to keep away various heart diseases by choosing a healthy life style. This was the first experience for the young biologists to get an insight of their own body.
