On 19th April, 2006 the students of classes IV, V, VI and VII were taken to watch a performance of ‘Ramayana’ at the Talkatora Stadium by the students of DPS R.K.Puram. It was an extremely good show with song and dance sequence as well. The costumes were exquisite and the story unfolds in a unique way. The characters were expressive and their dialogue delivery was exceptional. The children enjoyed it thoroughly and the principles and the values imbibed by the various characters will always be remembered.

Amity, in its constant endeavor to open new vistas for its students and staff, has always encouraged to look beyond text books and one such attempt is to inculcate reading habit among all the members associated with Amity. Keeping that in mind a visit to ‘Book Fair’ was arranged on 19/06/06 and 20/09/06 for teachers of Amity, PV.

A visit to the ‘Blind School’ was made by class VI on 7th September’ 2006 wherein, the students had an interactive session with the host students. They played an interesting cricket match in which the ball being used had bells in it. They also visited the candle workshop where they saw how candles and paper bags were made by partially blind children.
The students of class V & Vi were taken to ‘Nehru Planetarium’ near Teen Murti Bhawan on 24th September’ 06. The main attractions were Celestial Bodies and Shadow Show. They were also taken to ‘Nehru Museum’ which lies in the same vicinity.
Students of class I to VII were taken to watch the movie ‘Lage Raho Munna Bhai’ at the Chanakya Cinema. It is a story about the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi ‘The Father of our Nation’

The students of class VI were taken to ‘The British Council Library’ to give them insight into the world of books and to encourage them to explore the vast vista of knowledge.

January’ 07 |
On 24th January 2007 students of Class VI – A went to visit ‘Muskaan – a Parents’ Association for the Welfare of Children with Mental Handicap, in Vasant Kunj, New Delhi. It is a voluntary organization established in 1982 to empower the parents through emotional support and appropriate information and also to provide comprehensive education and training to mentally challenged children and adults.
AIS, PV organized 3 days and 2 nights camping trip to Manesar situated near the Aravali Hills around 15 kms from Gurgaon. The trip was from 29th January to 31st January.

On the 3rd of February’ 07 class VI- A and VI C visited the “Yamuna Biodiversity Park” to witness the ecosystem development.
