Indus quality Foundation an NPO conducted a workshop for the students of classes VI, VII & VII at AIS, PV with the mission of producing enlightened citizens empowered by spiritual effectiveness and supported by a zero – defect mindset.

     The Robotics classes started from 6th November’ 2007. The students of classes VI to VIII are divided into groups and they are using RCX and NXT kits to construct models.

Bookworms Cosmos’ 2007 - 08

     At Amity, under guiding principles of our respected Chairperson Ma’am. We have been consistently endeavoring to inculcate and encourage he wonderful habit of reading amongst our students by extensive array of literary activities/programmes such as book review writing, creative writing sessions, visits to prestigious libraries book review writing, creative writing sessions, visits to prestigious libraries books exhibitions, class libraries and so on. In furtherance of this objective, our school organized “Book Worms Cosmos 2007 -2008 from 3rd Dec to 12th Dec’ 2007”. The children participated in various age appropriate activities such as dressing up as their favourite character, spinning a tale, designing a pamphlet, making a book jacket, writing a biography and so on.

The creativity and love for books was evident in the active participation and enthusiasm displayed by all the students.

     “Heritage Quiz Training Programme” held at Amity International School, Saket on 14th January’ 08 from 09.30 to 03.30 pm. The batch of 10 students (Group 1) of class IV, V and VI were attended it.
