CONCEPT NOTE:

In an increasingly interconnected world, the management of borders has become a critical concern for nations across the globe. The challenges posed by transnational threats such as terrorism, organized crime, trafficking of drugs and humans, as well as the complexities of managing migration flows, necessitate innovative approaches to border security. By bringing together scholars, policymakers, and practitioners, the conference will explore strategies to counteract security threats, protect human rights, leverage technological advances, balance economic imperatives, and foster international cooperation. The event seeks to develop comprehensive policy recommendations, facilitate networking among stakeholders, and enhance the understanding of the complex interplay between various factors in border management, ultimately contributing to more effective and humane border policies.
