The Ritnand Balved Education Foundation, the umbrella organization of the Amity Institutions, was founded in 1986 and the first Amity institution came up in 1990. Amity provides industry oriented professional courses and is at the cutting edge of innovation. We were, for example, the first in India to start a Masters program in nanotechnology. As an initiative to promote entrepreneurship in the country, RBEF has established Amity Innovation Incubator (AII) which is supported by an advisory body consisting of industrialists, venture capitalists, technical specialists and managers established to help entrepreneurs realize their dreams through a range of infrastructure, business advisory, mentoring and financial services. Amity Innovation Incubator mission is to create foster entrepreneurial spirit amongst students’, faculty and society at large and to promote technology-based start-up companies in the region , to maximize their impact on economic development of the country.

Amity Innovation Incubator offers a range of incubation services to nourish entrepreneurial talent such as Business Planning, Company formation, Legal & IPR assistance, Technology Support, Affordable State of the art Infrastructure, Assistance in Venture Capital Funding and Networking.

We also seek linkages and exposure for our students at a global level and we currently have partnerships with numerous reputed institutions such as Purdue University (USA), University of East London (UK), University of Abertay Dundee (Scotland), Waikato University (New Zealand).
