The workshop was chosen to focus on the application of mentioned technique by researchers/ industry experts which aids in developing strategies by in-depth analysis of the data.
The seminar was aimed towards identifying the current and future prospects of business analytics to strengthen strategic decision making. It provided a multifaceted platform for industry and academia to share and discuss about the various challenges faced by the industry and role of Competitive Intelligence and Analytics to gain strategic advantage. Ms. Tulika Pandey, Scientist ‘F’ & Director, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, was the Chief Guest.
Amity Institute of Competitive Management and Competitive Intelligence organized an industrial visit on 15th March, 2019 to CNH Industrial (India) Pvt. Ltd. located in Greater Noida. The facility located in the industrial area of Greater Noida produces tractors used for agricultural purposes under the brand name “New Holland” tractors.
The students were explained about the manufacturing process involved in producing a tractor and how different parts and components are assembled in the factory. The company representatives supervised a tour of the group through the factory floor displaying the assembly line of tractors, paint unit of tractors, quality control, and working environment. They also explained the different steps taken by the organization for the safety of the employees.
Under the human values quarter, the faculty, staff and students of Amity Institute of Competitive Intelligence and Startegic Management visited the NGO, Kasturba Gram Kusth Aashram, located in Tahirpur, Delhi. It is a Delhi Government affiliated organization that works for the welfare of people affected by leprosy and is part of the Leprosy Mission Trust of India. Under the guidance of Dr. Monika Saxena, Coordinator, the students and staff of AICISM supported the endeavor by contributing in the form of food, clothes and in monetary terms.
