Revolutionizing Medical Imaging with Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence highlights the transformative potential of AI and computer vision in the field of medical imaging. Medical imaging, which includes techniques like X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, has been a critical tool in diagnosing and treating diseases. However, the interpretation of medical images has traditionally been a time-consuming and error-prone process, relying on the expertise of human radiologists. Advances in computer vision and AI have enabled the development of sophisticated algorithms that can analyse medical images more accurately and efficiently than humans. These algorithms can detect subtle patterns and anomalies that might be missed by even the most experienced radiologists and can provide clinicians with insights into a patient's condition that would be impossible to obtain otherwise.
The application of computer vision and AI in medical imaging has already yielded impressive results in several areas, including cancer diagnosis, treatment planning, and monitoring. As these technologies continue to improve, and become more widespread, these have potential to revolutionize the field of medical imaging, enabling earlier and close to accurate diagnoses, more personalized treatment plans, and better outcomes for patients. The objective of this symposium is to understand the basics of AI and machine learning, have familiarity with AI applications in medical imaging, critically evaluate AI tools for medical imaging and have Hands-on experience with AI tools and software for medical imaging.

International Symposium on "Revolutionizing Medical Imaging with Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence"
22nd-25th August 2023
We are pleased to announce the International Symposium on "Revolutionizing Medical Imaging with Computer Vision and Artificial Intelligence" to be held from 22nd to 25th August 2023. This symposium aims to bring together researchers, scientists, engineers, and industry professionals from around the world to explore and discuss the latest advancements and challenges in the field of medical imaging with a focus on computer vision and artificial intelligence (AI).
Medical imaging plays a crucial role in the diagnosis, treatment, and monitoring of various medical conditions. With the advent of computer vision and AI technologies, there has been a significant paradigm shift in the way medical images are acquired, processed, analyzed, and interpreted. These technologies have the potential to revolutionize medical imaging by enhancing accuracy, efficiency, and patient care.
The symposium will provide a platform for researchers and practitioners to present and exchange their cutting-edge research findings, innovative ideas, and practical experiences related to the application of computer vision and AI techniques in medical imaging. We invite researchers and professionals from academia, industry, and healthcare organizations to submit original research papers, case studies, and reviews on the following topics of interest (but not limited to):
Deep learning and convolutional neural networks for medical image analysis
Computer-aided diagnosis and decision support systems
Image segmentation, registration, and reconstruction techniques
Image-guided therapy and surgical planning
AI-powered radiomics and radiogenomics
Augmented and virtual reality in medical imaging
Big data analytics and data mining in medical imaging
Image-based biomarkers and disease progression modeling
Image-based computer-aided interventions and robotics
Ethical, legal, and social implications of AI in medical imaging
Paper submission deadline: 30th July 2023
Notification of acceptance: 5th August 2023
Camera-ready paper submission: 15th August 2023
Symposium dates: 22nd-25th August 2023
Submission Guidelines:
Authors are invited to submit original, unpublished research papers formatted according to the symposium's guidelines. All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process. Accepted papers will be published in the symposium proceedings proposed to be in Scopus Indexed Journals.
