TED is an annual event where the world's leading thinkers and doers are invited to share their passions. "TED" stands for Technology, Entertainment, and Design - three broad subject areas that are shaping our future. The first TED conference held in 1984 served as the ideal platform for innovators and leaders in the field of technology, entertainment, and design (TED), wherein the emphasis was on the rise of Silicon Valley. Today, TED has become a nexus for the global community of individuals who believe in the power of “Ideas Worth Spreading”. Past speakers include Bill Clinton, Richard Dawkins, Bill Gates, Larry Page, Sergey Brin, and many Nobel Prize winners. This serves as a testament to the authenticity and quality of a TED conference.

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx – independent, self-organized, and local events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At TEDx events, TED talks, videos, and live speakers are blended to spark deep discussion and small group connections. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. TEDx is part of a revolution in global education made possible by local organizers wanting to engage their communities.

At TEDxAmity University Noida, we embark on this moon-inspired journey in 2023, especially when Chandrayaan-3 accomplishes the journey from ‘cycle se chaand tak’. We will explore the moon’s influence on our lives, both personal and professional, delving into the parallels between its phases and the stages of human existence.
