ICoMB 2026 is envisaged as a dynamic platform to advance medical biotechnology through the fusion of innovation, collaboration, and skill enhancement. Aligning with India’s Viksit Bharat @2047 vision and global Sustainable Development Goals, the conference aims to empower youth and catalyse translational research. Medical biotechnology is at the heart of this conference, given its transformative potential to reshape healthcare, improve diagnostic techniques, and deliver targeted therapies for complex diseases like cancer. Its critical role in areas such as vaccine innovation, personalized medicine, and regenerative solutions makes it a timely and necessary focus, especially as the world seeks sustainable answers to both health and environmental dilemmas.
By prioritizing medical biotechnology, the conference acknowledges the intersection of scientific innovation and societal wellbeing. Amidst the plenary talks, technical sessions, and expert panels, the workshop is integrated as a pivotal segment of the conference. It specifically harnesses the creativity and drive of the younger generation, offering them opportunities to develop skills, engage in hands-on problem-solving, and receive mentorship from seasoned professionals. Through this workshop, participants are equipped not only with advanced technical knowledge, but also with the collaborative and creative mindset needed to excel in a world characterized by rapid change and competition. The conference brings together a cross-section of stakeholders such as researchers, clinicians, startups, policy-makers, and features sessions on cancer biology, green biotech, AI-driven diagnostics, tissue engineering, and nanobiotechnology. The event fosters a dialogue that is interdisciplinary, actionable, and aimed at addressing real-world challenges while promoting environmental stewardship, self-reliance, and inclusive innovation.
The Pre-Conference Workshop at ICoMB 2026 is designed to enhance skills and empower youth. It provides hands-on training in animal cell culture, RT-PCR, FACS, and more, fostering creativity, innovation, and collaborative problem-solving.
Participants will gain practical exposure and mentorship from experts—preparing them to excel in a rapidly evolving biomedical research landscape.
