AMITY is a movement in the field of private education. Dr. Ashok K Chauhan in his vision of India as Super Power by 2030, has always considered that the military will play a key role. In order to inculcate a sense of discipline and attract youth to join the Armed Forces and Central Police Forces (CPFs). AMITY started the Amity Cadet Corps (on the pattern of the NCC), followed by the Amity Indian Military College (on the pattern of the RIMC) and to provide quality pre selection training to candidates aspiring to join the Defence Forces we have the Amity SSB Academy .

At Amity Military Training is part of our psyche, we have formed an Amity Indian Military Education Society. It’s not a commercial venture. We build military values through the Amity Cadet Corps and Amity Indian Military College .

We also coach students in Academics, those who wish to appear for the UPSC examination for NDA, CDS and CPFs, by the Amity Institute of Competitive Examinations (Division Defence and Central Police Forces). This facility is explained separately.
