Renvoi 2018

In the last decade many developing countries have been adjusting their economies through various economic reform whose impact on the markets and consumers are significant. The rapid changes in the international markets, national markets and their ever growing importance to firms of all sizes meant that local business are now forced to compete with the foreign business that take advantage of relatively low investment costs, greater competitive advantage and increased global presence through strategic international alliances. Companies make decisions to enter international markets on the basis of the market development prospects, larger consumer base and expansion of local economies. Falling trade barriers and the advent of new technologies suggest that local business have to work harder and smarter to stay ahead of growing competition. In response to such changes taking place in markets, it is logical to expect that the arrival of global business ,local business to either adopt foreign business or face the prospect of low market share or shutting down. For instance, local business now have to be more innovative, technologically upgraded, and provide customer service in addition to paying attention to activities such as market orientation, ethical issues, changing lifestyle, and consumer behavior, and so on.

The present theme focuses on each aspect of business practices, emerging market and marketing strategy by identifying different business issues in different countries. Implementation of a proposed set of recommendations, using both qualitative and quantitative techniques will assist in decision-making and in improving organizational efficiency. Readers will also appreciate the multidimensional view of financial and non-financial performance measurement of businesses.

The goal of this case study competition is to provide a platform for management students, managers, research scholars, academicians by discussing a range of issues from the diverse emerging markets and enabling them to develop a strategic mindset for a market-oriented culture, given the changing business dynamics, culture, government policies and demands in industries.

Renvoi is a case study competition that provides a platform focusing upon Organizational ethic culture consumer behavior and various other prospects As the World Economy today is withnessing greater complexity interdependency velocity transparancy and diffusion of power Another megatrend currently reshaping the world is the increased blocks Thus cross exchange of views on strenghenging business practines becomes crucial.

The objective and rationale of the case study competition is to elate a range of issue from the diverse emerging markets and enabling then to develop a strategic mindset for a market - oriented culture
