| TEACHING |
The amphitheatre-style classrooms provide the most conducive atmosphere for dynamic and focused discussions between the students and the faculty. Interactive learning is augmented by a variety of teaching methods combining the traditional lecture with seminar teaching, team-based group projects, practical and advanced audio-visual aids. The objective of this is to develop the analytical, presentation and communication skills of the students. All these facilities are coupled with a strong faculty base comprising senior and renowned academicians and leading professionals. |
| SEMESTER |
The academic year is divided into two semesters for all courses. |
| ASSESSMENT |
The units in each course are assessed individually, with methods of assessment varying according to the nature of the subject being taught. It consists of a combination of course work (seminars, projects, field work, orals, practical), continuous assessment and examination. |
| MENTORING |
At AINGO, a faculty member is assigned to a group of students as a mentor to address each student's problems on an individual basis and to ensure that they develop their best possible potential through counseling and guidance. |
| FOREIGN LANGUAGES |
Amity provides an international perspective to the students through the various language programmes. The foreign language course has not been integrated into the curriculum. However, the students have a choice to select one of the foreign languages from French, German,Spanish, Japanese and Chinese and attend these classes separately. |
| PLACEMENT |
The vast corporate network built up by the Amity Corporate Resource Centre actively helps the students in placement and career counseling. Amity prides itself on the placements the students get. In the Corporate Resource Centre there is a whole dedicated team which works together with the student placement committee to ensure that the best NGOs come to campus. Amity has one of the most advanced online recruitment system which is regularly used by HR heads. Amity CRC will invite NGOs for on campus interview to select the students who are undergoing PGD - NGOM Course with Amity.
Amity has its own NGO in the name of Amity Humanity Foundation. AHF undertakes lots of social development projects and based on the need, AHF themselves will absorb meritorious candidates.

| ADMISSION TO THE VARIOUS COURSES |
Selection process is based upon a written test followed by a group discussion and interview. The interviews and group discussions are conducted by panelists who have expertise in their field. This is the normal practice in so far as other courses in AMITY are concerned.
In so far as NGO Management Course is concerned, since we are addressing only the niche segment who are committed to working for a cause, we have skipped the entrance test. For outstation students, we shall conduct telephonic interview before confirming the admission to the students.

| ORIENTATION PROGRAMS |
|
For every student who joins the Amity family, the orientation programme through its innovative techniques, helps the students to know themselves and their batch mates. The faculty members and the students get an informal opportunity to watch each others' expectations through feedbacks and brain-storming sessions.
