Technicia is an annually celebrated technical festival organized by the Amity School of Engineering & Technology (ASET) and Amity Institute of Information & Technology (AIIT) of Amity University, Mumbai. Technicia 2k17, with all the zealous vibes, was the second technical fest organized at Amity University, Mumbai on 25th of January, 2017.
With a lot more fun, enthusiasm and variant types of events, this time Technicia could manage to set a benchmark for the Institute. Technicia this time primarily focused on the three pillars of engineering or also known as the three I’s of engineering: IDEATE, INNOVATE and INSPIRE. Starting with the preparations, to organizing till the date, Technicia has always been influenced guided to be a student driven fest. Under the guidance of HOI ASET, Prof. Dr.Kamatchi Iyer and all the distinguished faculty coordinators, the student workforce of Technicia have put their heart and soul in designing and crafting a fest like never before.
Our esteemed chief guest for the day was Mr. Milind Saindane, Sr. Manager, Research & Development; Forbes Marshall Pvt. Ltd. Pune. He delivered his keynotes to introduce the inaugural gathering to his organization.
Technicia2k17 conducted 14 events in all, namely: RC Car Racing, Robowar, Paper Presentation, Poster presentation, Paper presentation, Technical Quiz, Assembly of Motorcycle, LAN Gaming(Counter Strike), Code Combat, Bridge the Gap, Aqua Rocket, Ani-Mania and Rubik’s Cube recognizing all the fields of engineering. Also, an event on the Online Platform was conducted i.e , Online IoT MCQ Quiz.
Technicia takes pride in announcing that the footfall was beyond the expectation and reached upto 700-800.
The various sponsors of Technicia were: Technicia is a National Level Technical fest and to enable students across India to connect with us, the team developed its own Website, www.aum-techncia.in and Android Application, Technicia_2k17 which is available on PlayStore. Due to this, we were able to invite a contender from Russia, who had joined us and participated in the fest. The student driven youtube channel, developed the official teaser and few more videos of Technicia 2k17.
In support of our Honorable Prime Minister Mr. Narendra Modi’s idea of digital India and to make the situation of demonetization radiant, students used the platform of PayTm for transactions and took their step to this initiative.
Amity University, Mumbai takes pride in announcing Technicia as one of the largest technical fest of Navi Mumbai and takes immense pleasure in announcing the fest as a grand success.
