Workshop–cum-Industry Visit on Preparation & Service of Fast Food Products and Effective Food Costing

An Industrial Visit-cum-Workshop organized for the students where students were taken to a Fast food outlet namely Domino’s , Lucknow so as to give them the exposure for preparation and service procedures of various types of Fast food products and methods of Food costing being done in the concerned Fast Food outlet. Students were also  explained the procedure to work on POS (Point of Sale)system of Restaurant which include taking guest’s order, placing order, bill settlement & preparing Restaurant Sales summary report.

 Purpose:

  • To update the students with the recent trends and practices being followed in preparation & service of various types of fast food products in the fast food outlet.
  • To provide the students hands on practice to prepare the various types of fast food products.
  • To provide the students an opportunity to familiarize with the Kitchen equipments & various types of ingredients being used to prepare various types of fast food products.

Proceeds

To provide the students an opportunity to familiarize with the procedure to work on POS (Point of Sale)system of Restaurant which include taking guest’s order, placing order, bill settlement & preparing Restaurant Sales summary report.
