The most awaited event of “Amiphoria” The Amity Designer Awards 2019” culminated with students of various fashion institutes including Inter Institutes and Amity school of fashion technology Lucknow by showcasing their creative abilities as budding fashion designers. The show was graced by the Mr. P.K. Bajaj (Income Tax Commissioner, Lucknow as the Chief Guest of the evening), and Ms Sonia Arora Mehrotra (Mrs. India Beauty Queen- 1st runner up 2017, Mrs. India Queen Globe, Mrs. Talented & Mrs. Intelligent 2017), Ms. Varsha Srivastava (Jewelry Designer, World record holder, National Awardee Stree Shakti Award, Record holder of India Book Awards), Ms. Ahly Afzal (Director- Shohiba Ahly Creations, Mumbai, Alumni) as the judges for the evening. The event was successfully Concluded under the guidance of Prof. Pooja Verma Director ASFT and the faculty Members. The students designed different collection of attires for following themes as Color Blocking, Nautical, Flipping Time with Nine to Nine, Monarch-The Dark side of the, Chimera and Achromatic Anarchy culminated.
The Above Judgment was assisted by Pre-Judgment round by jury comprise of Dr. Nidhi Mehta (Mrs Lucknow & Mrs Uttar Pradesh 2018, Assistant Professor) Ms. Rakhi Gupta (Fashion Designer- Dubai) Ms. Suruchi Pandey (Fashion Designer)
Groups from various institutions across India viz. RML Awadh University Faizabad, CRD PG College Gorakhpur, DDU Gorakhpur University, Tiarraw Fashion House, IIFT Next Lucknow, Blitzs Varanasi, IIFT Gorakhpur, Dreamzone Lucknow Participated on Theme The Beauty of the Gowns where they showcased various Designs Like Mermaid Style, Wedding Gowns, Saree Gowns etc.
