"8-Days workshop on “Statistical Techniques and Multi- Disciplinary Data Analytics Using R” is being conducted at Amity Institute of Information Technology in collaboration with AMLED, Pvt. Ltd. The workshop was inaugurated on 28th August by Dr. Shalabh Srivastava, Professor at Dept of Mathematics and Statistics at IIT, Kanpur, Mr. Ankur Mohan, Advisor AMLED, Brig. Umesh K. Chopra, Director AIIT and other dignitaries.
More than 100 participants including Faculties, Research Scholars and Students from various departments of Amity University and outside are attending the workshop and enriching themselves with the knowledge and experience of speakers.

Objects, operators and functions of R help in exploring, modeling, and visualizing data naturally. Being open-source, it is freely usable and allows for integration with other applications.
