The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Amity University Jaipur was started in July, 2004 and quickly gained the distinction of beimng the best in class B. Tech course in Jaipur. The first batch of Electronics and Communication Engineers graduated in 2008. The Master’s program was launched in 2009 and the first batch of Post Graduates passed out in 2011.
The Department so far has offered Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) course in Electronics and Communication Engineering for duration of 4 years (8 Semesters). From the year 2009 onwards the Department has launched 5 years (10 Semesters) program in Integrated Master of Technology (Dual B. Tech. +M. Tech.) and Master of Technology in Electronics and Communication Engineering (M.Tech) programs of 2 years (4 semesters). The department also offers Ph.D. program in various fields of Electronics and communication Engineering, like Microwaves and Antennas, Microelectronics, Devices and VLSI, Communication, Signal processing and Image processing etc.
Today it is among the most reputed communication college in Jaipur & has gone from strength to strength as onsiderable effort has been put forward during the last couple of years towards setting up new undergraduate and postgraduate laboratories and augmenting the facilities in the existing laboratories.
