CRC AUM organized a Workshop for Students of Amity Business School on First Impression

The topics covered in the session was - What is “First Impression”? In today’s competitive world it is so important for the young generation to make a positive and good first impression in order to be successful. Although knowledge and intellectualism do play an important role, but success depends on your communication framework that specially depends on the words said, modulation of the voice, the expressions of the face, positive body language, clothing, proper grooming & Etiquette. First impression helps to create an image of a person which lasts for a lifetime. Any gestures or postures or actions that one does, communicates various things about an individual, whether positive or negative, attractive or not very attractive. No matter what other people think, one should always show their traits to everyone so that people get to know who you really are and judge accordingly and the result being people would make an impression according to the image that one builds in front of them. Once the first impression is made, it is very important for an individual to keep building and improving of the image from time to time. One should be a life-long learner, observer & a good reader.

In conclusion it is necessary to emphasis that there are four universal effects of image and image building which makes people judge an individual and help them to improve from time to time: -

* The way you think.

* The way you feel.

* The way you act or behave.

* The way you react or respond to various situation.
