On the occasion of Republic Day Amity University Gurugram celebrated 69^th Republic Day on 26^th January 2018 at its Hostel Plaza premise and celebration was attended by 600 students.

Republic Day celebration begin with the flag hosting by Honorable Vice Chancellor Prof (Dr) P B Sharma, in which he had wished all the faculty and students Republic Day and shared the stories of India’s fighting for freedom and efforts to established world’s largest demographic country supported by world’s largest written constitution. It was followed by speech delivered by Honorable Dean Students Welfare Maj. Gen. G.S Bal in which he had shared his experience of Republic Day Celebration when he was working for Indian Army.

Celebration continued with cultural program presented by Hostlers and staff children in association with Dramebaaz and Udaan members consisting various patriotic songs, dance and speeches. The program was for about one and a half hour. Patriotic fervor gripped the University Campus.

Celebration got concluded with a rich tribute was paid to the martyrs, warriors and freedom fighters. Vote of thanks was given by Col Vijay Singh (Deputy Director Hostel).
