Cartoon is a form of two-dimensional illustrated visual art. While the specific definition has changed over time, modern usage refers to a typically non-realistic or semi-realistic drawing or painting intended for satire, caricature, or humour, or to the artistic style of such works.
Initially, Expert started the workshop by introducing himself as a cartoonist. Then, he discussed about cartooning & need of cartooning in Architectural Presentations. Then he presented some of the cartoons, made by him.
Then, Workshop continued about the various steps & techniques of cartoon development like face making, gestures, hands, feet, body & various human expressions like anger, sadness, happiness, confusion etc. The Expert discussed importance of proportions & exaggeration in cartoon making.
Students learned cartooning in steps, as instructed by the expert.
The workshop ended with a vote of thanks by Col. K.P Singh & Amarnath Sharma &Students greeted expert with a round of applause.
Director sir gifted his book with a photograph of experts with students & Faculty members
