Exclusive auction of Sachin Tendulkar Memorabilia

Amity Humanity Foundation organized an exclusive auction of Sachin Tendulkar Memorabilia, on 28th March 2005 at Olives, Mehrauli. The exclusive auction had cricket accessories from Master Blaster Tendulkar’s cricket gear. The Maestro’s personally autographed bat and helmet from Australian cricket tour, Tendulkar’s 187 numbered cap from the Pakistan tour were the few very popular items in the Auction list, getting the maximum contribution for the noble cause of underprivileged and marginalized sections of society.

Mr. Atul Chauhan, President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation introduced Amity Humanity Foundation to the august gathering and added “Amity is the dream, the vision of Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan. Dr. Chauhan’s philanthropic nature and humanitarian thoughts initiated the idea of AHF”. The auction was conducted by Mandira Bedi, the famous Bollywood star and the 'extraaa innings' hostess. Mandira enthralled the audience with her charm and persuaded everyone to contribute generously. Charu Sharma, the famous Cricket commentator also encouraged the audience to come forward and support the cause.

Mr Mohit Kumar, CEO of Exim International, bid and won many items for his son who is an ardent cricket fan. He has won Sachin's cricket bat, personally autographed and used by Sachin as well as a helmet, worn and autographed by Sachin amongst many other items. Mr Dan Sandhu, CEO of Vertex has won Sachin's T-shirt worn and autographed by him. Mr Aseem Chauhan has won Sachin's shoes worn at the Pakistan match in 2003. All these items have a certificate of authentication issued by Sachin's office.
