All India Undergraduate Management Fest 'Aura 2005' kickstarts at Amity
New Delhi. February 11, 2005: The BBA students of the Amity
Business School (ABS) are organizing their annual two day management festival “Aura-2005” on
the theme “Convergence of Ideas” from 11th - 12th of February 2005
at Amity Business School, Noida.
Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President- Ritnand Balved Education Foundation
(RBEF) inaugurated the festival today. Teams from 50 leading management colleges
like the Birla Institute of Technology, College of Business Studies, St. Xavier’s-
Mumbai, IMS- Noida, Allianz- Bangalore, ABS- Lucknow and Amity Institute of
Telecom Technology & Management, to name would be competing with each other
in various management & finance games.
Dr. Chauhan thanked the teams for coming from all across India to the festival.
As a true motivator, Dr. Chauhan received a loud applause from the enthusiastic
students when he mentioned: “A failure may be forgiven but aiming low
is a crime”.
Prof. Alka Munjal, Director BBA, ABS said: “When management gets driven
by passion, it gets magical. And it is this magic which creates an AURA. When
we were planning AURA, I had told my students to eat, drink & sleep AURA
and today I believe that all my 800 students have lived to my words”.
Amongst the other dignitaries present at the inaugural ceremony were Mr.

a leading industrialist from Barcelona, Spain & Mr. Atul Chauhan, President-
RBEF.
AURA 2005 has a wide array of events such as management games, debate, quiz
and cultural programs challenging and testing the acumen of the participants
not only on academic excellence but their creativity as well. It will provide
a common platform to the future leaders of the corporate world, enriching their
knowledge, imbibing culture, encouraging team spirit and inculcating the feeling
of rejoicing in unison.
The two- day festival would end with ‘Corporate Bizarre’- an inter-college
fashion show and ‘Frequency’- the Musical Night.
