Amity Institute of Biotechnology steals the show at Biotech India 2005
Biotech India 2005- a four day exhibition on the biotech industry was inaugurated on February 9 by Shri. Natwar Singh, Minister for External Affairs, Govt. of India at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi.
The inauguration was followed by a conference at Hotel Intercontinental. Luminaries from the Government as well as the Private sector presented their views on the growth of the biotechnology sector. Mr. Aseem Chauhan, Trustee & Board Member- Amity institutions was one of the panelists at the CEOs Interactive Round Table on- “National Biotechnology Policy- Leveraging Emerging Opportunities in Biotech”.
Simultaneously the Amity Pavilion received the maximum response at the exhibition ground at Pragati Maidan. Academicians and experts on Biotechnology undertook counseling sessions at the Amity Pavilion. Students thronged the Amity booth to listen to the overview of the Biotechnology Sector by Dr. Sunil Saran, Director- Amity Institute of Biotechnology. Other prominent speakers at the Amity Booth were Prof. Subhash Chand, IIT & Prof. Ajit Varma, Amity.
