"Kehta Hai Voter", a live TV debate by News 18.

Voicing concerns about issues affecting development and youth, a group of first-year students from BA (J &MC) and MA (J&MC) from Amity School of Communication, Amity University, Chhattisgarh, participated in a live TV debate titled “Kehta Hai Voter”. Organized by News 18, the debate panel comprised renowned politicians and spokesperson from leading parties in Chhattisgarh.

As the theme suggested, the students and people of different age groups expressed their views on a wide range of issues pertaining to development, unemployment, Left wing extremism, parties’ action plan to tackle these issues among other issues. Students also fielded a volley of questions to understand experts’ perspective on key issues.

Mr. Prakash Hota, Editor - News18 (Chhattisgarh), moderated the panel discussion. He also interacted with Amitians and answered their queries through logical discussion. Besides experiencing a live event, ASCO students also learnt about contemporary issues plaguing development and progress in the state that went to polls recently.
