Amity University Madhya Pradesh Celebrates MELANGE 2018 to Welcome the Fresh batch of Amitians

Amity University Madhya Pradesh extended a warm welcome to the fresh batch of the Amitians by organizing its Annual Introduction Party ‘Melange 2018’ on 05 October 2018. One of the most awaited events of the year, ‘Melange 2018’ aimed at welcoming the newcomers in a friendly atmosphere encouraging their creative impulses and boosting their confidence, while fostering a healthy bond between the juniors and the seniors.
Adorned in graceful and vibrant attires befitting the theme of the party “Prince and Princess”, the fresh entrants congregated in the University grounds. The evening was full of festivities, pulsating with the enthusiasm of the students. The event started with a performance of Ami Band. The showcase of extraordinary talents by students in different events like Ramp-walk, singing and dancing left the crowd enchanted. The crowd stood mesmerized over the rhythmic song tracks and melodious vocals by students of first year. A marvellous amalgamation of Indian and western form of dancing was staged that elevated the pace of the event.Adorned in their magnificent attires, the students looked stunning as they gracefully and confidently walked the ramp during the Fashion Show. The time-honoured tradition of selection of Mr. and Ms. Fresher was continued where, on the parameters of grace, style and intelligence,Harsh Pratap Singh (BBA LLB1stSem) and Siddhi Jaisinghani (BCOM Hons 1stSem) were crowned as Mr. Fresher and Ms. Fresher of 2018 respectively. The winners, along with other performers of the evening were felicitated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AUMP, Lt Gen V K Sharma, AVSM (Retd.) along with Pro Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) M. P. Kaushik. The evening culminated with an open-to-all dance floor to the accompaniment of a DJ, leaving the students wrapped up in vivacious dance, music and fun.
