AMI- Enviro Club Organised Ozone Day Celebration

Environmental science is the study of patterns and processes in the natural world and their modification by human activity.  To understand current environmental problems, we need to consider physical, biological and chemical processes that are often the basis of those problems. Ozone depletion describes two related events observed since the late 1970s: a steady lowering of about four percent in the total amount of ozone in Earth's atmosphere (the ozone layer), and a much larger springtime decrease in stratospheric ozone around Earth's polar regions. The latter phenomenon is referred to as the ozone hole. There are also springtime polar tropospheric ozone depletion events in addition to these stratospheric events.

AMIENVIRO club always try to aware students about the various environmental processes and human activities and their impacts. Students from all sorts of educational fields experience the day to day environment friendly activities. Through the learning experience, students try to apply these sustainable activities in to their real life and help to make the surrounding environment better.

We succeeded in creating interest and awareness among the students regarding environmental process and human activities and their impacts. AMIENVIRO club provides a common platform for the students of various disciplines among the campus to express their ideas about environmental processes. The said activity is successful to impart a message among the students about the importance of environment friendly activities in day to day life. Total 85 young and enthusiastic students in-directly benefited from this indoor activity.
