Amity Law School?Amity University Chhattisgarh, Raipur organized a symposium on “Constitution of India: The Challenges Ahead” to celebrate the Constitution Day. The Hon’ble Pro-Vice Chancellor Mr. Vijay Kumar Singh Dahima graced the occasion with his kind presence. Mr. JelisSubhan, (HoI, Amity Law School) in brief given an outline of the symposium. In the symposium, Mr. Aqa Raza (Assistant Professor of Law) presented a research paper on the topic “From Professor Dietrich Conrad to Nani A. Palkhivala?The Journey of Doctrine of Basic Structure of the Indian Basic Law of the Land: A Juridical Critique”. Mr. Zaid Ali, a student of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) III Semester, presented a research paper on “Refugees and the Dilemma of Secularism”, Mr. Abhishek Pandey, student of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) III Semester, presented a paper on “Public Interest Litigation and the Changing Paradigm of Locus Standi”, Ms. Rajdeep Kaur, student of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) I Semester, presented a paper on the topic “Freedom of Speech and Expression”and Ms. Alisha Shamim, student of B.A., LL.B. (Hons.) I Semester,presented a research paper on the topic “Independence of Judiciary”. All the faculty members of the Amity University, Chhattisgarh were present on the occasion.
