Industrial Visit to Huawei Technologies, Gurugram

Amity School of Engineering & Technology, Amity University Gurgaon organized an Industrial visit to Huawei Technologies, Gurugram for its Electronics & Communication Engineering Department students on 5^th September as a part of curriculum and academia-industry interface to provide student a practical perspective and opportunity to learn through interaction, working methods and employment practices. 

Ms. Malvika (HR) Huawei Technology briefed that Huawei Technologies is a Chinese multinational networking and telecommunication equipment and service company found in the year 1987, headquartered in Shenzhen, Guangdong. It is the largest telecommunication equipment manufacturer and Global No.1 telecom solution provider driven by a commitment to sound operations, ongoing innovation, and open collaboration. 

During the industrial visit students came across various devices and instruments used for transmitting as well as receiving information such as antenna, BTS(Base Transceiver Station), BSC( Base Station Controller), MSC(Mobile Switching Center),HLR(Home Location Register), Optical Fibers etc.
