RED BULL NEYMAR JR FIVE AMATEUR SOCCER INTERNATIONAL COMPETITION HELD AT AMITY
Presenting an opportunity for soccer enthusiasts to showcase their skills on a global platform, Red Bull Neymar Jr Five Amateur Soccer International Competition was held today at the Amity University, Noida. The competition is an initiative by the renowned football player Neymar Jr to ‘unite players from all around the world to celebrate one passion: football.
Red Bull, every year, sponsors the global amateur soccer tournament ‘Neymar Jr’s’ Five’ covering 17 countries in Europe, 8 countries in Asia & Africa, 4 in North America & 3 in South America. This was the 4th edition of the tournament. The previous year saw the participation of 125,000 players from over 62 countries. It was a 5 verses 5 gender neutral tournament with national winners getting a chance to represent their nation at the World Finals in Brazil.
More than 65 teams from various departments of Amity participated in the tournament in which each team displayed an excellent show of skill, perseverance and passion. A whooping number of spectators were also present at the venue to support and cheer their teams.
