Amity Centre of Int. Business inks MOU with Univ. of East London

The Centre of International Business (CIB), Amity Business School, Noida has entered into a collaboration agreement with the University of East London (UEL). A memorandum of understanding was signed during the International Business Summit and Research Conference INBUSH-2005 recently. Inbush is the annual event of Centre of International Business. The two parties agreed to establish the Amity Centre for Risk Management and Governance at the CIB, linked to the Centre of Risk Management and Governance at UeL developed and headed by Dr. Jyoti Navare, Reader/Subject Field Leader Strategy, Operations Management & Marketing at the UeL Business School.

The objective to setup the Amity Centre for Risk Management and Governance is to promote the study, research and implementation of various aspects of Risk Management and Governance including financial, operating, and physical risks. The Centre would work closely with leading academicians, institutions and the corporate world to establish a deeper understanding of Risk Management and Governance.

The two factions would jointly undertake activities to establish the Amity Centre for Risk Management and Governance, exploring opportunities for joint research projects, case studies and other collaborative ventures and exchanging information regarding possible areas of research. The other plan of action would include facilitating staff and student exchange and visits and exploring various academic programmes such as M.Sc. in Risk Management and other such appropriate programmes.
