Amity Insurance Cricket Cup 2005 Finals

Oriental Insurance became the new champions of
Amity Insurance Cricket Cup after defeating the last year champions Life Insurance Corporation by 97 runs in a nail bitting finals played at the Amity Grounds at Noida Sec-44.
After winning the toss Oriental elected to bat first. In their allotted 25 overs they made 234 runs. In reply Life Insurance Corporation was succumbed to the pressure and were all out in just 137 runs.
Former International Cricketer Mr. Surender Khanna, Mr. Garry Bennet, C.E.O. Max New York Life Insurance,Mr. Atul Chauhan, President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation presented the winners trophy to Oriental Insurance
Mr. K Subramanium, Executive Director, I.R.D.A., Mr. M. Ramadoss, C.M.D. Oriental Insurance. Mr. Atul Chauhan, President, Ritnand Balved Education Foundation presented the runners up trophy to Life Insurance Corporation team.
During the Amity Insurance Cricket Cup 2005, certificates were also awarded to 6 successful trainees who completed the short-term courses in cricket coaching from Amity School of Physical Education & Sports Sciences.
