Amity Students Ride High

New Delhi: Class I Students of Amity International School, Noida, under the Amity Riding Academy, gave in an extraordinary performance at the Delhi Horse Show, Army Equestrian Centre, Delhi Cantt organized by the Army Polo and Riding Club from April 28-May 8.

Amity Riding Academy walked away with 27 medals Amity children performed extremely well while competing with some of the best riding teams in the country.

A total of 25 teams from all over the country participated in the horse show. Some of the well known riding teams were: Amity Riding Academy; President’s Body Guard; BSF; American International School, Delhi; Army Polo and Riding Club; Karnataka Police; 61 Cavalry; Punjab Police; Sports School, Rai; and PPS, Naba.

Students from Amity International School (AIS), Noida and East Delhi won honours in this horse show. A student of Apeejay, Noida and member of ARA from the Academy won 3 medals.

Total 27 medals were won by Amity Riding Academy 4 were Gold, 7 Silver, and 16 bronze medals. Amity Riding Academy is training students of all Amity International Schools, were riders are provided with best equestrianism skills. “Quality coaches impart coaching to children enabling them to make rapid progress in learning,” commented Maj. Gen (Dr.) Surendar Kumar, Chairman, Amity Riding Academy. Maj. Gen (Dr.) Kumar further added, young children, from age 4 also enjoy lessons in horsemanship at all levels with opportunities of caring for a horse and equipment. “Our instructors are selected for their experience in horsemanship and abilities to properly instruct students. Our primary purpose is to educate the community about horses and provide a safe environment for children and adults to learn horsemanship, sportsmanship, and adults to learn horsemanship, and teamwork.”
