Junior Research Fellow

Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Project – ‘Hypervariant 16S rDNA Sequence as a Proposed Molecular Tag for Group in and Identification of Bacillus Species’, funded by DBT, Govt. of India.

Essential qualifications:

M.Sc.  in Microbiology / Biology / Biotechnology / Life Sciences. OR

M.Tech in Biotechnology (specialization in plant science) or other relevant subjects.

Desirable qualifications: Preference would be given to students having working research experience on wheat related works with molecular techniques.

Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on July, 2014 which is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Salary:  Rs. 16,000 pm for NET qualified candidates; Rs. 12,000 pm for non- NET qualification candidates.

General Term and Condition: The position is temporary and will be filled on contractual basis for a period of two years. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program in Amity Institute of Microbial Biotechnology, Amity University, Noida.

 No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
