JUNIOR RESEARCH FELLOW

For  Amity Inst. of Geo Informatics & Remote Sensing

 

 

Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in the Project – ‘Assessment of Aquifer Vulnerability to Pollution in Lucknow Area, using Integrated Approach’, funded by DST SERB, Govt. of India.

 

Essential qualifications:

M.Tech. / M.Sc.  in Geology with working exp. on  Remote Sensing and GIS .       

M.Tech / M.Sc. in Geo Informatics / Remote Sensing with Science Background in Graduation.

Desirable qualifications: Preference would be given to students having practical knowledge of Image Processing and Groundwater modeling in GIS Environment.

 

Age limit: Must not be over 28 years as on July, 2014 which is relaxed up to 5 years for SC/ST/OBC candidates.

Salary:  Rs. 16,000 pm for NET qualified candidates; Rs. 12,000 pm for non- NET qualification candidates.

General Term and Condition: The position is temporary and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years. Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program provided they satisfy the eligibility criterion for PhD program in Amity Institute of Geo-informatics and Remote Sensing, Amity University, Noida.

 

No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
