The scientific and technological development that has taken in recent years has completely revolutionized the world economy. The world has become a global family with the boundaries between nations shrinking and distances being reduced. Frequent cultural exchanges have revolutionized the life-styles. Mutual understanding, trust and cooperation conspicuous, and employment opportunities are on the increase. It is no surprise that international hospitality and tourism is on a fast track.

During long stay in Germany , I gained valuable experience because of interaction with world personalities, travel to many countries and long association with continued contact with personalities of different nations. I became aware and enlightened about the inner urge of foreigners to visit our motherland – a land of diversity, having both tradition and modernity, and where life is both simple but culturally rich. The life-style of people is varied and there are colorful traditions. Our is a land where the Atithi (guest) is treated as ‘God’, and service is the motto of life.

We have unlimited resources and unexplored tourist attractions and in the near future, we are bound to face a big influx of tourists. There arises the need for an educated, intelligent, and professionally trained team, of young-men and women to come forward and take up the challenging task of guiding them. Therefore, I have an urge to imbibe and inculcate the best of creative and technical qualifications, indispensable human qualities, and bonds of tradition and modernity in my young students. We are committed to this cause and are fully supported and guided by professionals and experts, from both national and international levels, to achieve this outstanding task.

Amity School of Hospitality (ASH) is whole-heartedly dedicated to this cause and committed to bring excellence in Hospitality and Tourism Education. I convey my best wishes to the students who will be leaving the portal of the Institute.

I have made a target for myself to equip my students of the institutions of the Foundation, specifically of Amity School of Hospitality, so that they excel in their life, achieve all their goals and thus enjoy life. It will automatically provide them lead to the service of the nation and service of humanity all over the world. This aim cannot be achieved without the support and guidance of faculty. The curriculum is comparable any program of international standard, with a facility and opportunity for placement all over the world.

My endeavour is that the students who are determined to excel, a competent and dedicated faculty, a meticulously designed curriculum and an optimum infrastructure are going to make ASH the best in the world.
