CALL FOR PAPERS

Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), one of the pioneer institutions in the field of Engineering, Research and Technology, organizing its 4th International Conference- Confluence 2013 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit on the theme S. M. A. C. (Social, Mobile, Analytics, and Cloud). Confluence 2013 intends to bring together professionals, academicians, industry experts, researchers and enthusiasts to discuss various emerging trends and innovations, share research results and new directions in the field of next generation technologies. This technical conference aims at providing a platform for industry and academia for sharing advancements in research and development in upcoming areas of Information Technology.


Instruction for Authors:

 

    • Original papers based on theoretical or experimental work related to the below mentioned sub themes are solicited for presentation in the conference. Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed.
    • All papers must follow strict formatting instructions given at Confluence Website.
    • Please do not submit plagiarized papers.
    • The total length of the paper must not exceed six A4 size pages including bibliography and appendices. Paper must be in .PDF
    • All the papers will be submitted through on-line paper submission process (Easy chair submission system). Authors are requested to follow paper submission link on website.

    The presented and registered FULL Papers and SHORT Papers will be published in the IET Digital Library and IEEE Xplore.

    Copy right form:

    In order to publish paper in the conference proceeding, the authors are required to submit a signed copyright form for each accepted paper during registration.

Call for Poster

Confluence 2013 is organizing a poster session aimed at showcasing work in progress. The poster papers are an independent part of the conference, and are not selected from the main submission of the full length papers. This is an opportunity to present and discuss current work in an informal setting during the Confluence 2013. Posters will be reviewed by Confluence-2013 poster chairs. At the conference, posters must be presented by the respective author(s). The poster papers should describe original and unpublished work and should not be under review for any other conference or journal. This is a great chance especially for researchers to obtain interesting and valuable feedback on ongoing research from knowledgeable scientists, speakers, delegates and academicians at the conference.

Authors are invited to submit original poster papers on any topic relevant to the theme of the conference.

Call for Workshop

4th International Conference, Confluence 2013: The Next Generation Information Technology Summit, will be held in Amity University, Noida. Confluence will be hosting workshops and therefore invites submission of workshop proposals.


Submission Procedure

Workshops should focus on theme of conference or any other current topics of particular interest. Proposal of the workshop should be submitted to confluence2013@amity.edu,  no later than 30th April, 2013. Acceptance notification will be send on 10th May, 2013.


The proposal should include:

  • Title of the workshop
  • Duration of the workshop: 2 hours, Half-day
  • Names, addresses, and a short CV of the organizers
  • A brief description of the workshop will address, emphasizing its timeliness
  • Planned format of the workshop, such as number of refereed papers, hot topic sessions, keynotes, panels etc.
  • If appropriate, a description of past versions of the workshop, including number of submitted and accepted papers, number of attendees, etc.
  • A description of the publicity and promotion plan





Call for Tutorial

Confluence 2013 invites tutorial proposals, providing lecture on new and emerging topics within the scope of mega trends in IT: social media, mobile, analytics and cloud.


The proposal should include:

  • Objective and motivation
  • Description of the content
  • Duration
  • Scope
  • Target audience
  • Brief profile of presenters
  • Any other information
