Introduction

Amity School of Engineering and Technology (ASET), Amity University Uttar Pradesh is one of the pioneer institutions in the field of Engineering, Research and Technology and has been ranked 4th in North Zone by Times Of India (Education Times). Amity School of Engineering and Technology is organizing “International Confluence 2012 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit” on 27th -28th September, 2012 to be held at Amity University Uttar Pradesh, Sector-125, Noida-201303.

In January 2010, ASET successfully organized Confluence 2010 which focused on strategies for ‘Information & Storage Management’ in different sectors and looked for new directions in the changing business scenario. In January 2011, ASET organized Confluence 2011 which focused on ‘Data Storage, Information and Compliance for Business Excellence’ and was a huge success. And this year, 3rd in the series, ASET is organizing “International Confluence 2012 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit”. Confluence 2012 intends to bring together professionals, academicians, industry experts, students and enthusiasts to discuss various emerging trends and innovations, share research results and new directions in the field of Cloud Computing and other next generation technologies.

Instruction for Authors:
Original papers based on theoretical or experimental works related to the above mentioned sub themes are solicited for presentation in the conference. The paper should begin with title, short abstract and a list of keywords. Simultaneous submissions (papers already submitted to other conferences/journals) are not allowed. All papers must follow strict IEEE formatting instructions. Please do not submit plagiarized papers. Strict actions will be taken against the authors of those papers. . The total length of the paper must not exceed Six A4 size pages including bibliography and appendices in IEEE Format. Paper must be in .DOC/.DOCX.

Paper should be sent as an email attachment to confluence2012@amity.edu with SUBJECT –“PAPER SUBMISSION-‘Title of paper’”.

Copy right form:
In order to publish paper in the conference proceeding, the authors are required to submit a signed copyright form for each accepted paper during registration.

Selected and registered papers will be published in the Proceedings of the International Confluence 2012 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit. Extended version of selected papers will be published in International Journal of Computer Applications (IJCA) (USA) Digital Library with initial indexing in Google Scholar, CiteSeerX, UlrichsWeb, DOAJ (Directory of Open Access Journals) and Scientific Commons Index, University of St. Gallen, Switzerland. International Journal of Computer Applications is a voting member of CrossRef, USA and each of its research articles is allotted a unique DOI reference. The papers will also be indexed with SAO/NASA ADS Physics Abstract Service supported by Harvard University and NASA, Informatics and ProQuest CSA Technology Research Database. 

The award for best research paper will be given in the concluding award ceremony of International Confluence 2012 - The Next Generation Information Technology Summit.
