The Amity Physiotherapy College embraces the mission and values of the principles of Physiotherapy to promote high quality education and practice. The aim of the Institute is to educate students and other professionals to provide the best health care services coupled with the ethic of caring. The mission is consistent with a commitment to provide excellence in education, research, practice, and community service. The Physiotherapy faculties have embraced the constructs of knowledge, clinical competence, teaching and learning, leadership and management, continuous change, scientific research, role function, and professionalism as the essential matrix of the Physiotherapy Curriculum. These constructs reflect the faculty's belief in the values of competent and humane patient care, ethical behavior, interdisciplinary collaboration, and life-long learning. The philosophy of education is based on the conceptual model that humans cannot be understood, appreciated or treated apart from the envoirment.


It’s my firm belief that the physiotherapy program will provide a spectrum of healthcare, spanning generalist, comprehensive care and specialty care based on educational preparation and clinical experience. Our partner institutions share our values and beliefs about humans and healthcare. Our students enjoy a rich immersion into higher education and health sciences through exposure to a diverse, interdisciplinary faculty and a wealth of clinical experiences.
