Amity Physiotherapy College (APC) is an integral part of Amity Group, under the patronage of Ritnand Balved Education Foundation (RBEF) & Ritnand Balved Medical Foundation (RBMF) which has over 70 Institutions running variety of educational programmes in various campuses in cities like Bhuwaneswar, New Delhi, Jaipur, Raipur, Gurgaon, Lucknow and Noida.

The ultimate goal of Amity Physiotherapy College is to prepare Physiotherapists, who are good clinical analyzers, excellent team workers, life long learners and are able to practice as excellent therapists in a variety of health care delivery systems such as primary, secondary and tertiary systems. In order to meet its obligation in teaching, research, scholarly activities, practice of service, the Amity Physiotherapy College, strives to maintain high quality faculty who are excellent teachers and expert practitioners, whose contributions are remarkable in the field of physiotherapy.

The Amity Physiotherapy College, which is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi imparts full time training in physiotherapy for four years followed by six months’ internship (4½ years) leading to Bachelor of Physiotherapy Degree (BPT). APC is duly approved by the Delhi Council for Physiotherapy & Occupational Therapy (DCP&OT) and the Indian Association of Physiotherapists (IAP).


The Bachelor of Physiotherapy course provides systematic Physiotherapy education in theory as well as practical with an emphasis on clear concepts and basics. This helps the students in critical analysis, decision-making leading to detailed therapeutic treatment. This enables the students to emerge as thorough responsible professionals as well as create a necessary knowledge base for advanced education in specialized clinical practice.

The graduation programme in physiotherapy will provide the basis for entry into professional physiotherapy practice. The graduates are prepared with the necessary and thorough base to practice in a variety of setting including government and private hospitals, old age homes, gymnasiums, clinics, fitness centers, industrial area, and areas of sports. The also have the opportunity to start their own private clinics.


The program also emphasizes on leadership roles as well as team work effort to provide best treatment and care for the individual.
