Global Talent Search Examination (GTSE) is an Amity initiative to awaken the scientific thinking in young minds. This examination aims to test the skills of the students in the fields of science and mathematics. GTSE also serves as unique platform for the students to learn beyond their regular curriculum and prepare themselves with an edge for any future competitions.
GTSE was held on November 23rd, 2006 for the very first time where about 5000 students participated from Classes V- XII. The event turned out to be a success with the participation of many reputed schools like AIS, Delhi Public School, Bal Bharti School, Army public School, Cambridge School, City Montessori School (Lucknow) etc.
Since then the successful journey of GTSE has moved up and ahead serving as a unique platform for the students to showcase their skills and talents. Being held every year on 23rd November, for Classes Class I to XII, GTSE has witnessed about more than 50,000 participants over the years. The course module/syllabus for the examinations is based on the CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards curriculum.

|With the increased importance of competitive science and reasoning skills in the IT driven society, the school believes in giving the required exposure to the students through participation in various Olympiads conducted by EduHeal Foundation. These Olympiads not only create awareness about various subjects but also bringing an element of challenge and competition.
Amity provides myriad opportunities to the students from class V to class X to learn one of the most commonly spoken languages in the world, French. Students are encouraged to participate in French Olympiad conducted by Education & Beyond India Pvt. Ltd. and Langers International Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the French Embassy and Alliance Française in India. Three best students from across India are sent for an all-expense-paid educational trip to France.
The International Informatics Olympiad, a test of competence and proficiency in computer science, is held annually at AIS Gurgaon 46. It is based on the syllabus prescribed by CBSE/ICSE and the State Boards in the Month of November /December. Apart from syllabus, a part of the test paper is based on mental ability and reasoning. The top ten students are awarded medals.
To provide a strong foundation to the younger generation and help them to succeed in the field of science, Unified Council, India’s leading scientific assessment organization, conducts NSTSE -National Level Science Talent Search Examination. It helps the students to discover their strengths and weaknesses as it provides them an analysis report that contains detailed diagnostic analysis for specific improvements and further development in each child.

The school organised an Inter Amity Commerce Olympiad on November 24, 2014.
Based on the ranking, students were awarded at the grand prize distribution ceremony held at the school on January 31, 2015, presided over by eminent personalities from different fields. Medals and certificates were awarded to the first three toppers of each school. The overall Rolling Trophy from Class XI & XII was awarded to Amity International School, Saket and Vasundhara 6 respectively The event also witnessed a panel discussion on the topic “Impact on Indian Economy after the visit of US President Barack Obama’s visit”
