Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) is an academic simulation of the United Nations that aims to educate participants about current events, topics in international relations, diplomacy and the United Nations agenda. A Model UN delegate is a student who assumes the role of an ambassador to the United Nations at a Model UN event.

All MUN delegates have to obey Rules of Procedure, which are a simplified version of those used in the real United Nations conferences. The sessions of the committees are led by Chairs and Co-Chairs. At the end of a conference, the best-performing delegates in each committee are recognized with awards. The participants gain insights from their exploration of history, geography, culture, economics and science and ensure a memorable and lively experience. Today, Model United Nations has greatly matured and expanded. It is now practiced all over the world in almost every continent.
