19th District Taekwondo Championship 2016

Khushi Thakran of Class VII and Satya of Class VIII bagged Gold medals. Divya Saini of Class VI bagged Silver medal in the Championship held at Sector 10 A Gurgaon.

CBSE Chess Championship 2016 (North Zone)

The Under 11 Boys mix team won a Bronze medal. Shubham Goenka of Class V bagged the Best Player Award and also got Best Board prize. The team qualified for CBSE National Chess Championship 2016.

The path of Possibilities

Keeping up with the vision of Dr. ( Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, the Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurgaon added another milestone to its achievements. Ishita Singh of class 8, bagged the first prize in Under 16 category and runners up trophy in Under 14 category for Talent series, The National Ranking Tournament organized by AITA ( All India Tennis Association) held at Passerine Sports Academy. Gurgaon’s rising tennis star Ishita Singh lived up to her top billing as the youngster made it a double joy in AITA Super Talent Series tennis tournament played in Gurgaon. School Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra lauded the achievements of the young star and motivated her for her future endeavours.

 

Skating

Musckaan Chauhaan, of AIS Gurgaon 46, secured 5th position in 1000 meter race in Asian Roller Skating Championship, held in China.

Musckaan Chauhaan, skated her way to a Silver medal in the Flanders Prix Roller Skating Championship held in Belgium. Being the first female skater from Haryana, Musckaan has always been a trail blazer. The Haryana Skating Association has awarded her a trophy and cash prize of Rs. 11000/- in recognition of her hard work and remarkable achievements. Her pathway to fame and glory is paved with accolades and medals, at both national and international levels. She has won thirty -seven medals in National Roller Skating Championships.

  • Radhika Singhal, Karandeep Singh, Vasvi Burman, Rivul Raghuyal and Anadi Kaura also made the school proud by winning Gold, Silver & Bronze medals in Distt. Roller Skating Championship.

Cricket

Under the mentorship of school Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra,Amity InternationalSchool, Sector 46, Gurgaon registered a marvelous win at Heritage Tenvis Extravaganza.In all 6 teams participated in the tournament. The guests of honour for the event was Mr. O.P. Taneja, Vice President of Haryana Cricket Association and Mr. Pramod, Secretary of Cricket(NCR). Teams of AIS 46 played with passion, grit and determination as a unit and were crowned as the champions in the tournament as Under 14 team scored 166 runs and defeated Rotary Public School. Raj AngadBawa was adjudged the Highest Run Scorer and most promising player of the tournament. Under 12 team of AIS 46 defeated Suncity School Gurgaon by 10 wickets. TejasSahni bagged Best Batsman of the Tournament Trophy and Arnav Sharma received award for being the highest wicket taker. Chairperson of Amity group of Schools and RBEF, Dr. (Mrs.) AmitaChauhan, congratulated them on their stupendous success and motivated them to perform better and aim to play cricket for their country, in days to come.

Gauri Gaur of class VI, created history for the school when she powered the school team of AIS Gurgaon 46, to victory in the Under – 19, District Girls Cricket Championship. She was awarded the ‘Woman of the Match’ award. Gauri was selected for the Haryana State U-19 Girls Cricket Championship and later in the U-19 National Girls Cricket Championship, becoming the only girl to represent her district.

  • The Girl's Cricket Team of the school bagged the 1st position in Distt. Schools Girls Cricket Tournament held at S.D. School, Gurgaon and qualified for Haryana State Cricket Tournament.
  • The Boy's Cricket Team were declared joint winners in Distt. Schools Cricket Tournament and have qualified to play Haryana State Boy’s Cricket Tournament.
  • The School Cricket Team lifted the most prestigious Dronacharya Cricket Trophy organised by Dron Public School, Gurgaon.

Football

The Girl's Football Team of AIS Gurgaon-46 was declared winner of Distt. School Football Championship held at DAV School, Khandsa, Gurgaon. The team has qualified for the State Level Schools Football Championship.

Basketball

The Girl's Basketball Team of the school was declared winners of Distt. School Basketball Championship held at Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Sector 46, Gurgaon and have qualified for State level Schools Basketball Championship.

Archery

The archery enthusiasts of the school, viz, Priyanka Thakran, Sakshi Sharma, Anu Thakran and Diksha Chillar did the school proud when they were selected for the National Level Archery Championship held at Jawahar Lal Nehru Stadium, New Delhi.

Swimming

The swimming champs of the school - Siddharth Sindhu, Vaibhav Aggarwal, Manjit Tyagi, Surya Kapoor and Rashi Janghu, bagged a volley of awards including 6 silver & 6 bronze medals at Distt. Level Swimming Championship held at Gurgaon. They also qualified for Haryana State Swimming Championship.

Yoga

A gargantuan team 26 boys and 20 girls of AIS Gurgaon-46 were selected to participate in the Haryana State Yoga Competition held at Panipat & Jind.

Lawn Tennis

Aryan Pandit & Aryan Nijhawan secured the 1st position in Distt. Lawn Tennis Championship in the Under-14 category held at Scottish High School, Gurgaon. They, along with Eshita Singh, were selected to participate in Haryana State Lawn Tennis Championship held in Panchkula.
