Founder's Day Celebration
 
The school celebrated Founder’s Day on November 3, 2016 to honour the birthday of Dr Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Universe. A skit named ‘Jeevan Darshan’ depicting the life of the Founder President inspired the guests and the students. Scholarships and prizes were also given away for the performances in academics and sports on the occasion.

Senior Annual Day
 
The school celebrated its Annual Day titled 'Indigram- Bhartiyata ki Pehchaan'- an initiative to inculcate a feeling of patriotism and connection in the young ones with their country, culture and traditions. The function was dedicated to the former President and great scientist APJ Abdul Kalam whose birthday is celebrated as World Students Day, on October 15, 2016.

Rashtriya Ekta Divas
 
The school celebrated Rashtriya Ekta Divas to pay tribute to Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel, the Iron Man of India from October 31 to November 6, 2016. Students took pledge to maintain unity and integrity of the country.

22nd National Sahodaya Conference
 
School principal Arti Chopra presented a case study on how ICT plays an eminent role in developing skills at the school at 22nd National Sahodaya Conference. The theme of the conference ‘Skill Development in the Changing Scenario’ conducted by CBSE was held at Raipur, Chattisgarh from October 21-23, 2016.

Personal Development Workshop
 
A number of workshops were conducted by Pria Warrick at the school for the students of classes VIII and IX from October 19-20, 2016. The workshop mainly focused on the development of individual personality through environment and the ability to emulate and get inspired by good personalities.

Felicitation Ceremony of Sports Stars
 
A felicitation ceremony was organised in Amity University, Noida on October 22, 2016 to laud the efforts of achievers in various sports competitions held at national and international level. Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF applauded the efforts of the students by presenting them with trophies and certificates.

Awarded for Best Essay
 
On account of Teacher's Day, an essay writing competition was conducted for all the teaching faculty members by the Chairperson , Dr.(Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, on the topic-“ Reminiscences – Long and short of teaching journey”. School Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra and Mrs. Arpita Biswas won the prize for best essay. Mrs. Mohina Dhar felicitated them in the special assembly conducted on Teachers Day. It was meant to honour and recognize the work of exceptional teachers in all the Amity branches. Every year, the list includes inspiring teachers who have succeeded in ensuring good quality education for children despite massive hurdles.

Carpe Diem- Let's Seize The Day with Multiple Intelligence 2016
 
Amity International School, Sector 46 hosted fourth Inter school Annual MI Fest -2016, to promote holistic development of a child’s personality. Eighteen schools from Gurgaon and NCR took part in the event. Various competitions like Rhyming Zone, Think-Tac-Toe, MI Quest, Tech MI, Radio Gaga, Street Feet Rhythm, Junk Band Ensemble were assessed by eminent judges on parameters that accounted for all the 8 multiple intelligences viz. Linguistic, Spatial, Bodily, Kinesthetic, Inter Personal, Intra Personal, Logical, Musical and Naturalistic.
The judges were amazed to see the talent and enthusiasm of children at such a young age. The Overall Championship trophy was won by Amity International school, Sector 43, Gurgaon. School Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra and the respective judges gave away the prizes for each event.

Connect with divinity through Art : CHITRANKAN 2016
 
Amity 46 conducted Chitrankan-The Festival of Colours that aimed to let students imagine, create or experiment to reach out to beautiful spheres of art through exciting competitions.17 schools from Delhi and NCR participated in the event. The students exhibited their artistic flair and their creations in the competitions like Best Out of Waste,3D Sculpture,3D Decoupage, Graffitti, Caricature, Mix Media Mural, Clay Relief ,Tableau Design, Dry Flower Arrangement ,Clay Tale, Art Infographics judged by the freelance artists Ms. Rekha Bajpae and Ms. Subhra Chand . Amity International School, Sector 46 stood first, but being the host school they did not compete for the Rolling Shield which was awarded to Amity International School, Pushp Vihar by the school Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra.The Art competition saw young artists giving expression to their imagination in vivid shapes. The event Chitrankan, left each contestant enriched through participation and interaction in the highly stimulated environment of challenge, experiences and achievement.

Creative Excellence at Literati 2016- The Festival of Languages
 
Literati 2016- the festival of languages, an event for writers and artists aimed at bringing out the best in creative minds was organized. Over thirty renowned schools from Gurgaon and NCR participated in this mega event.
Eminent personalities from various walks of life like writers, editors, University Professor, IT Professionals along with experts graced the occasion and gave their valuable judgement . A large number of students from various schools participated in the Language Festival of all five languages comprising Hindi, English, Sanskrit, German and French and also highlighted the importance of learning languages .
A beautiful cultural programme was put up by the students. The audience highly appreciated the fusion Dance. Various competitions like Rthyms, Dubbomania, Director’s Cut, Curtain Call, Sanskrit Geeti Kaavya Nritya, Voicing The Opinion, The Quest, Vaad Vivaad, Online Story writing, Online Essay Writing, Online Article, Online Poem writing along with competitions in German- Chor(German Choir) and French- Defile de Caracteres’ were organized to test the language skills of the students.AIS 46 was adjudged as the overall winner. Being the host school, the trophy was later presented to the team of AIS, 43 Gurgaon. Amity International School, Sector 43, Gurgaon was adjudged as the Overall Winners of Literati 2016.

Debate Workshop
 
Learning to speak in public provides the skills to explore ideas, develop confidence and articulate opinions. A workshop on Debating skills was conducted to promote public speaking skills. The workshop led by the Danish Debater, Mr LawandHiwaNamo, was truly insightful and engaging. By the end of the workshop, the learners were able to learn the essentials of an effective and intelligently structured debate. They were told techniques and tricks to counter their opponent and how to conduct themselves while debating and got to practice what they had learnt in the first Inter Amity Debate Tournament that was conducted as a part of the workshop. It gave the students an exposure that was at par with international standards.

Class VIII Presentation - Youth Parliament
 
Today’s Youth have become deeply opinionated but at times are frustrated with the lack of opportunity to get their voice and opinions heard. The theme of the class presentation of class VIII -Youth Parliament, gave the students a platform to step forward and understand the importance of question policy from those who have been formulating the policy. The presentation was a simulation of the parliamentary proceedings of a legislature and a tool to promote understanding of the working of government.
 
The guests and the parents and school Principal Ms. Arti Chopra inaugurated the event by lighting of the lamp of knowledge. It helped to boost their confidence and enhance their speaking and debating skills, delivery of dialogues, thus ensuring all round development of each child.The audience was also sensitized about the issues discussed by the students. The event was initiated with an Instrumental presentation followed by aerobics and dances. Informative talk show on the facts about Sikkim and work ex clubs based on different multiple intelligences got an overwhelming response from the parents. It taught the children the lesson of co-operation and team work.

Sanskar – The Essence of our Values
 
Amity International School, Sector 46, Gurgaon celebrated its Junior School Annual Day on March 28, 2016 in the school premises. The chief guest, Shri D Suresh, Commissioner, Gurgaon Division and Vice Chancellor, Indira Gandhi University, Meepur, Rewari and other distinguished guests including Dr. Kashyapi Pramod Kumar Awasthi, Assistant Professor in the Department of School and Non-formal Education, National University of Educational Planning and Administration (NUEPA) graced the occasion.
The programme titled ‘Sanskaar’ commenced with an enthrallingSanskaar Beat -an orchestra presentation. School principal Mrs. Arti Chopra presented the Annual Report .It was followed by a special musical performance by the students of Amitasha. The visual feast was scintillating dance drama “Sanskar – The Essence of our Values” that showcased the Indian Ethos, which stands out as having lasted the longest and giving peace, happiness and stability to those who have followed it. It was an amalgam of traditions, moral values and beliefs that have been passed from one generation to another. As time and the whole world stand witness to the cultural and emotional richness of the Indian Diaspora, Amity leads this sterling endeavor, providing conducive environment for the younger generations to grow morally, intellectually and emotionally.
An exhibition, depicting tradition of Chhattisgarh, Nagaland and Uttaranchal was put up. Mrs. Pooja Chauhan, Vice Chairperson, Amity Humanity Foundation, applauded the efforts of the school Principal and teachers in making the event a success.

The school held its Investiture ceremony for the academic session 2016-17. The outgoing Head Boy and Head Girl bid a sentimental adieu to the school in their respective speeches. The investiture of the junior council was followed by the senior council. The newly appointed Council Members marched in with heads held high, to the beautiful beats of the school band, and were felicitated with their sashes on this great occasion. Chairperson Dr. ( Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, expressed her fervent belief in every Amitian and congratulated the newly appointed student council.
The new Head Boy, Abhineet Shrivastav and Head Girl, Vaishali Tikoo promised a definite change for a better tomorrow. A constitution was released by the Chairperson, Dr. Amita Chauhan ,Col. Ahluwalia and the School Principal, Mrs. Arti Chopra.
