The Amity Philosophy

The philosophy of the school proclaims itself in the belief "Vidya Dadati Vinayam". The emblem is a symbol of the indomitable power and humility that knowledge imparts. The school has a strong belief that knowledge alone brings with it light, harmony, humility and peace. Every effort is made at AIS to impart an education that will inculcate in the new generation of nation builders the humility to rise above their individual needs, serve mankind and become success driven achievers.

The Significance of the School Emblem

An emblem is a vivid reflection of the spirit that goes into the making of an organization or an institution . The emblem depicts a lotus flower with a child reading a book. The name of the school features above the Emblem and the motto "Vidya Dadati Vinayam" is given below it. The child has lot of potential to learn and the school provides a congenial environment that nurtures his/her growth. It is a real platform to learn and imbibe various virtues and values which are essential for him to grow onto an integrated human being. The Lotus is the epitome of purity and goodness . The lotus is the child as the Lotus thrives unsullied in an uncongenial environment, he/she should also strive to remain pure and keep his sanctity alive in the face of negative influences. Apparently, the it also acts as an embodiment of wisdom, knowledge and character.
