Some of the extra curricular activities include clay modeling, paper recycling, wall climbing and horse riding. To engender a spirit of healthy competition and confidence stress is laid on Debates, Declamation, Quizzes, Dramatics etc.
AIS has a weekly work experience periods to enable the students to pursue their interests and enhance their talents in myriad hobby clubs which include Little Actor’s Club (For Juniors), English & Hindi Dramatics Club, Elocution Club, Music (Western & Classical) Club, Dance Club, Computers Club, Meal Planning Club, Social Service Club, Instrumental Music Club, Club for International Understanding, Environment Club, Sports Club etc.
Learning in Amity is so much fun that when kids think they are playing, they are actually developing and learning skills that hone their potential for formal work. During this time the main objectives of the curriculum is to develop a sense of openness towards the world to reinforce an innate sense of discovery. Children learn to interact with their peers, follow and concentrate on one particular activity for a period of time, thus widening their span of attention

Apart from these the Annual Day, Sports Day, Bal Mela, Winter Carnival, theme parties and special assemblies are held to build the confidence of the little ones and show case their talent.
In class I six years old embark on an enjoyable and memorable learning experience. They are guided in this by their class teachers. To ensure individual attention she is assisted by a co-teacher. All the concepts are introduced in the class by the play-way method.
The Curriculum

Computers – The Cambridge starter course is followed.
The school follows the CBSE paradigm of a broad, relevant and well-balanced course material, which aims at the spiritual, moral, cultural, social and physical development of the students. The students are exposed to a kaleidoscope of learning experiences which broaden the learning horizons.
The Curriculum

The Teaching
The excellently planned lessons are taught in detail. Audio Visual aids are used according to the subject and topic (web charts, power point presentations, charts, models, etc.)
Innovative worksheets related to the topic are given at the end of the lesson. Thought provoking and open-ended questions are asked where students apply concept and participate enthusiastically. The written work is exhaustive and regular periodical tests are conducted – the questions designed aim at testing both the bright and average students.
Values & Ethics
To encourage holistic development of the young learners a comprehensive programme on value education has been developed for all classes. Class talks on various issues are held. This sensitizes them and enables them to become conscientious and successful human beings
Apart from excelling in the C.B.S.E. board exams the school endeavours to prepare students for various competitive entrance exams, through result oriented training by experienced professionals.
The Approach
The senior secondary classes are research oriented, and learners are exhausted to broaden their learning horizon by working on innovative and meaningful projects.
The Amitians participate in various national and international competitions and win positions of commendable appreciation. There is a qualitative and overwhelming participation for competitions like NTSE, JSTSCE & ASSET.
Two basic academic streams are offered, namely, Science & Commerce.
The subject in each stream is offered in various combinations to enable students to pursue their desired courses of study later in life.
Result oriented training is imparted by experienced professionals who target development and desired success.
Synchro Study : Extra coaching classes take place at the Amity Institute for Competitive Examinations (AICE), established in the campus. To reduce stress levels of students, the institute follows a special module, which has been designed keeping in mind the needs of class XI & XII students. The students opting for Science stream at senior secondary level have an option of attending engineering and pre-medical entrance exams coaching classes, along with their regular classes covering the school curriculum within school premises.
Amity believes in nurturing talent. In an effort in this direction students at +2 are given an opportunity to tap & optimize their potential. The faculty for these coaching classes is trained to meet the needs of students appearing for these intensely competitive.
