1 Events : Boys & Girls (under 14 & 19 age group ).  The participant should be within the particular Age Group as on 31st December of the year of participation i.e.2005.

2. Venue : Amity International School, Sec-44,  Noida. Gautam Budh Nagar-201303 (UP).

3. Schedule : Inauguration 9th October 2007 at 10.00 AM (Immediately proceeded by events). Prize distribution 13th October 2007 at 12.00 Noon.

4. Reporting Date : Team should report at Noida on 8th October positively without fail.

5. Lodging and Boarding:

1. Accommodation will be provided free of cost in the campus.  However teams will bring their own bed – rolls if required, they can be arranged at a nominal cost on prior information to the organizer.
2. Breakfast, Lunch, Evening Tea and Dinner will be arranged on payment @ Rs. 100/ per day per head.

6. Teams must bring with them the following- 

1. Sports Kit
2. School Flag
3. Set of School Uniform
4. I-Card with Photographs in duplicate.
5. Medicine (as per requirement)

7. Security deposit: Rs. 1000 shall be deposited at lodging place.

8. Team managers/ : there will be a meeting of team mangers on 8th October at 6.00 P.M.
    coaches meeting : at the lodging place.

Rules and Regulation of Championship:

1. CBSE Tennis Tournament will be played according to the rules and regulation of AITA unless otherwise modified by tournament committee.
2. Each school can send one team, comprising of maximum four players, in both the age groups i.e. under 14&19yrs, separately in Boys’ & Girls’ category.
3. The tournament at Zone level shall be played at Knock –out basis.  In case the number of teams at Zone level is less, the tournament may be organized on league cum knock-out basis.
4. Matches will be played as the best of 13 (Thirteen) games with six all as tie breaker till the pre-quarter finals. Quarter final will be best of 15 (fifteen) games and semi-final and finals will be played on the best of three sets with tie-breaker rule, if necessary.
5. The tournament shall consist of two single and one doubles event in both the sections i.e. boys and girls.  Two singles matches shall be held first in tie case (one all) double will follow.
6. The ball “COSCO” CHAMPIONSHIP” shall only be used at Zonal & National level Championship.
7. At Zone and National level, the balls are sponsored by COSCO(INDIA) Ltd.
8. Merit certificates and Medals shall be awarded to the first three positions winning teams in both the sections.
9. All the other participants shall be awarded with the Participation Certificates who actually come to play.
10. The decision of the referee shall be final .
11. Players must report 20 minutes earlier in proper kit for the match.
12. Players must be prepared to play more than one match in a day.
13. The code of conduct for the player shall be strictly observed on and off the field.
14. The school organizing Zone level competition, shall take a Group Photo of the teams that have qualified to participate at National level competition.  The photo shall be signed by the host school Principal and forwarded to the school organizing next level of competition along with the original entry Performa.
