The course is designed to produce post graduates with the knowledge, skill and practical experience to enable them to become professionals capable of making important contributions in the rapidly growing field of bioinformatics. The course is primarily designed for graduates with a biological or computer science degree and comprises modules in both computing and biology. The areas covered include both traditional bioinformatics (sequence analysis) as well as new biology (genomics/proteomics)
