AIB possesses the most modern infrastructure in terms of Tissue Culture Labs, Microbiology, Central Instrumentation facility, Computational Biology, Biochemical Techniques and Molecular Biology. Further, a 60-acre herbal garden with greenhouse facilities, a well-stocked library and state-of-art computing room, facilitate research and consultancy.
LIBRARY

Training grounds for budding professionals

  • Amity has state-of-art labs in Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Plant Tissue Culture, Animal Cell Biology and Biochemistry etc.
  • The labs are also equipped with the latest equipment for Molecular Biology studies such as:

Elisa reader, Lyophilizer, Inverted Microscope, CO 2 Incubator, PCR, HPLC, Ice Flaking Machine, UV—VIS Spectrophotometer (single and double beam), Refrigerated Centrifuge, Gel documentation system, Phase contrast microscope, B.O.D. incubator, Metabolic Shakers, -80 o C and -20 o C Refrigerator, Electrophoresis systems (vertical and horizontal), Shaker Water Baths, Media Filtration systems, Plant Growth Chambers, Fermenter, Muffle Furnace. Besides these the various laboratories are also equipped with all other instruments of common use as Compound microscopes, Autoclaves, Laminar flow, pHmeter, Colony counters, Distillation unit, Ovens, Micropipettes, Weighing balances, Vortexers, Magnetic stirrers etc.

 
 
THE COMPUTER CENTRE

AIB has state-of-the-art computing facilities. Students can leverage the power of IT and experience the learning process which is both informative and interesting. The computing facility comprises of Intel Pentium processor based HP/IBM machines and servers. The entire network rests on four Firewall (Intranet, Mail, Attachments File & Print) HP and IBM servers. Students and faculty members alike can access the internet throughout the campus with the help of broadband radio link and ISDN link backup. A range of latest subject specific softwares are available to enable the students to work on data analysis, web technologies and also software designing. Efficient intranet facility enables smooth movement of data across departments.
THE  LABORATORIES

AIB has a well-equipped library with the latest in reference books, periodicals, journals and newspapers. The students also have access to the libraries of sister institutions approximating over 30,000 books both Indian and foreign, scientific journals, magazines and periodicals covering technical and management subjects.


THE  CLASSROOMS

Devising strategic routes for business implementation, incorporating team dynamics and presenting valid, well-researched perspectives form a part of a manager's everyday work schedule. Within the specially designed amphitheatre style classrooms, the MBA (Biotechnology Management) students practice this regime each day.


THE  Computing Facilities

  • The Institute has a state-of-the-art computer centre that provides computing facilities comprising of the latest HP/IBM machines linked to a wide range of software, communication and print services.
  • Internet connectivity through broadband radio link and ISDN line back up.
  • The intranet enables the close on-line interaction between faculty and students.

AIB has a well-equipped library with the latest in reference books, periodicals, journals and newspapers. The students also have access to the libraries of sister institutions approximating over 30,000 books both Indian and foreign, scientific journals, magazines and periodicals covering technical and management subjects. Amity is also a member of the British Council Library and the American Library Centre.


THE  AUDITORIUM

Built to match International standards, the auditorium at Amity can seat 300 people comfortably. This acts as a common ground for students, faculty and corporate personalities for regular interface and other management events.

• The fully integrated Seminar Hall seat 100 people and is equipped with advanced presentation tools for audiovisual interactions.


WIRELESS CAMPUS

The institute has a technologically advanced wireless campus. The students have access to web-based information from any and every location in the campus
SPORTS

To encourage the overall development of students, Amity offers an Olympic size running track, Basketball court and Football ground and Tennis courts among other facilities. Apart from outdoor sports, Amity also provides indoor sports facilities such as Table Tennis, Billiards and a well-designed modern Gym.
HOSTEL FACILITIES

The hostel is built on the same campus as the teaching block and is well-equipped with all modern amenities. Separate blocks are there for boys and girls. The hostel rooms in this can accommodate up to 300 students.



MEDICAL FACILITIES

AIB has a tie-up with major speciality hospitals in the area for providing medical cover in emergencies for our students
OTHERS

  • An air-conditioned, multi-cuisine restaurant.
  • Amity has tie-ups with the Apollo Group of Hospitals & Kailash Hospital for handling any exigencies. Students are covered by a comprehensive medical insurance to meet emergencies.
Making a Team Effort
  • Emphasis is given on not only in making students academically brilliant, but true leaders and team players, thus preparing them for the real life corporate world.
  • Every student is therefore a member of a club/committee that brings about their true potential and aptitude, helping them in their future careers.

Military Training

  • Students have to undergo compulsory Military Camp as a part of their personality development program.
  • During this fully residential program, the students imbibe the value of discipline in life and a spirit of patriotism, commitment and perseverance, by participating in various activities like parasailing, trekking, shooting and many other activities that test their mental and physical agility.
